About Me
Coming from a family keen on healthy living and becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the answers to general health questions I embarked on a quest for knowledge which led me to the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London where, after four years of study I gained professional qualifications in the fields of Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine and returned to Lancaster.
My training consisted of Anatomy, physiology, pathology, Naturopathic principles and disciplines including detoxification, fasting, nutrition, hydrotherapy, iridology, homeopathy and specialist training in Herbal Medicine including the study of traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine.
The study programme was supplemented by clinical practice, putting into practice what I was learning, under the strict supervision of some of the best clinicians in their field.
I am a member of both the Unified Register of Herbal Practitioners (URHP) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), who demand a strict code of ethics, continued professional development and full indemnity insurance.
Real health and vitality are the greatest gifts in life and being able to support people in achieving that is incredibly rewarding. I hope to be able to help many individuals in the Lancaster and South Cumbria area in the present and future with their health and well-being.
